There really are only 2 main shaman raiders at this time: Cerina and Carpathya. Even though Enhancement is supposedly going to have a huge dps buff in 3.1.0, Elemental and Resto really have the advantage in buffs and the like at this time. Please feel free to ask either of us any shaman questions, either here or in WoW and definately check out ElitistJerks,com. The Elemental thread is actually very good. For loot and gear, I'm sure you know, go to wowhead and lootrank. I believe that Cerina and Carpathya were both in the top 25 for gear scores. However, the quality of the player cannot be known based on quality of gear. If your rotation sucks, you're done.
Moral of the story: Shaman is a great class to play!
