Loatheb Healing - Tree Friday, April 03, 2009
2:27 PM

I posted this in the wowhead druid forum when I started healing as tree. The fight lends itself to ‘how well do you know your spells’. I do feel as an aoe spec-ed and glyphed tree healer with HoT style healing, this fight is designed to challenge us.
The chart is assuming you have good haste (as close as possible to 1 sec GCD) and glyphed for Lifebloom and Swiftmend. 4/4 t7 is not required.

Soooo..... I did this fight as resto.... and MAAANNN it was messy.... I hate to be the healer on this fight.... Stressfull as hell.... And since I got nothing better to do.... ;) I decided to see if I can improve on this fight as a druid resto.
As you all might know... the fight is broken down to 20 seconds interval in which your heal will only be effective for 3 seconds. With out HoTs style of healing, my first initial response is I'd just roll as much as HoTs in the raid and let the ticking do its magic. Then I realize 2 of our HoTs only ticks every 3 seconds (rejuv and regrowth). So they actually only tick once in that window. pffttts.... So to get the most heal done in that 3 seconds window I did a little table. And I think this is what I'm going to do on my next fight.

Time--status--action
17—no heal--monitor
16—no heal--monitor
15—no heal--monitor
14—no heal--monitor
13—no heal--monitor (check if SM is not on CD, rejuv a target for your swiftmend if necessary, I often pick the Mt for this)
12—no heal—LB target 1 (tank)
11—no heal—LB target 2
10—no heal—LB target 1 (tank)
09—no heal—LB target 2
08—no heal—LB target 1 (tank)
07—no heal—LB target 2
06—no heal—LB target 3
05—no heal—LB target 3
04—no heal—LB target 4
03—no heal—LB target 4
02—no heal—LB target 5
01—no heal—LB target 5
00—heal------WG, LB#1 blooms, LB #3 roll, LB #4 roll, LB #5 roll
00—heal------Nourish, WG rolls, LB #2 blooms, LB #3 roll, LB #4 roll, LB #5 roll
00—heal------Nourish (if possible) or Swiftmend, WG rolls, LB #3 roll, LB #4 roll, LB #5 roll

WoW suci, you just made me dread healing loatheb. Is that list the goal or some sort of advanced macro?

LOL... no macro here.... Straight up xcel spreadsheet. I have too much time on my hand at work. Things are slowing down here in the city. Not much things are getting built.
