I wanted to have a tank thread for those who are tanks as main spec or off spec. I'll spell out my loot distribution system in here. If you have issues about tanking loot, questions about rotations and assignation of roles, here's the place do take them up.
First off, I'm thinking of pigeonholing all the tanks into specific duties, e.g. pally tanks in charge of aoe trash pulls. Any other roles will depend on who will show up come patch day (looks like next week is a good candidate). Anyone have thoughts about this?

In terms of AOE trash pulls: When we're in Naxx, I don't think we need to designate any specific tank to the trash. We can all fight for aggro, and it doesn't really matter...that way, if one of us dies another tank is already next on the aggro list.
For Ulduar, however, I've heard that trash might not be quite as pull-and-burn as it is in Naxx, and may return to an old-WoW style of strategy and precision.
For bosses, designating tanking is a good idea (ie - Patchwerk, where the tank with the lowest HP is the main tank so that the others can soak up the HS, or Sartharion - where I, as a warrior, would have a lot easier time tanking Sarth than running around trying to get AOE threat on adds).
