Unless stated otherwise, loot rules apply to all guild runs, even the ad hoc ones, so anyone starting a raid is expected to know and respect these rules. If it's a semi pug run, use at you see fit but be sure to annonce them clearly in vent BEFORE the first pull. Because they are posted and annonced, ignorance of the rules is not a defense for breaking any of them. You have been warned.
1. First rule of loot distribution : All raiders are expected to be well informed about their class mechanics and personal needs and should roll on gear accordingly. If you roll on something which someone else would benefit more, class wise, you will be asked if you are serious and sure that you truly need the item. If this happens again, your roll will be disregarded completely. Believe us when we say you do NOT want to get a loot whore tag in the guild.
2. Somewhat related to rule #1 : Be courteous, don't roll if an item is only a lateral improvement or something you know you are going to replace the second something better itemized for your spec/play style drops if another raider would get more use from it. This said, we are not asking anyone to pass systematically if an item is a bigger upgrade for someone else. Use your judgement.
3. Armour pieces will be given to the type wearer, i.e. cloth to clothies, leather to rogues/druids, etc. Exceptions may be considered but you better have a VERY solid case.
4. Loot priority: Raider, Knight, Offspec/Dual spec, Alt. Pugs, if any, pugs will be considered between Raider and Knight. Tank gear is reserved to guild tanks.
5. BOEs which are not NEEDED by anyone in the raid becomes guild property and will be given to the raid leader/loot master. This does not apply to pug runs.
6. Tank gear will be distributed by Enee in any progression raid. If he's not present, tanks should decide amongst themselves who gets what. Any non progression raid drops, eg 10 man Ulduar, will follow the loot priority.
7. About alt runs : we expect anyone wanting to bring an alt to a non progression raid (see post on alts in raids for more information on this topic) to have done some work before hand, i.e. heroic runs, crafting and emblem gear. If you are sporting greens and crappy quest blues, do not expect to get a raid spot.
8. If you have an issue with loot during a raid, take it up with an officer in tells. If that doesn't work, put up a post in the appropriate topic on the forums. Any excessive complaining in raid chat, gchat or vent will win you a strike. Too many strikes and you are out. This does not apply to any heartfelt fuck yous directed at whoever won the roll over you by 1 or more, as long as it remains lighthearted.

Looks good. The only thing I might argue is to make Offspec/Dual Spec and Alt equal, since the only reason the Alt would be in the raid is because he is of some use to the raid.

#3 is for people like me who have best in slot cloth and leather because they didn't really seem to understand the needs of ele/resto shams when they designed the class and gear. i believe that the next patch has more mail caster gear. however, there will still be instances of best or second best in slot items being leather or cloth for me (and, i'm assuming, Cerina), such as: Shoulderpads of Dormant Energies-leather & 2nd bis, Robes of the Umbral Brute-cloth & bis, Handwraps of the Vigilant-cloth & bis, etc.
i know that those things should go first to the cloth wearers, etc, because they can only wear cloth, however, i think that once the main spec cloth wearers have the caster gear appropriate to them (or do not want to roll on that gear for whatever reason), mail wearers should be allowed to. i think it should be up to the GM & officers whether to allow the mail wearers to roll with or after the clothies get the gear. will probably be the same upgrade for both classes/characters, so that is up to the officers.
