These are the requirements to become a raider. (This iteration of the rules is in beta)
1. Signing up for raids 24 hours in advance (or decline if necessary) and showing up to the majority of CoL raids. You are either a Raider or you are NOT a raider. There is no in between. A. The 24 hour rule only applies to regularly scheduled raids. 2. ALWAYS having all reagents, flasks (2), food (10), poisons, (rogue), ammo (All classes with ranged slot), etc, AND always being repaired. A. This check is performed at the beginning of a raid
3. There will be a minimum DPS check performed on a target dummy for every single dps. The amount shall currently be 80% of your spreadsheet dps. This number WILL change when I decide hard numbers. A. This test will be performed in a fully buffed raid WITHOUT a flask
4. Raid invites begin 15-20 minutes before raid. At 10 minutes prior to raid you will be replaced for someone who is more prepared. Only exceptions will be to people who notify the person who created the guild event in advance, and will not be more than 30 minutes late. Ideally pulls start at the scheduled raid time. This isn’t attainable EVERY time, but it WILL happen nearly every time. If you are constantly late you will be demoted back to knight.
5. If you have a computer that gets less than 20 fps in a raid, you are eligible to be raider, but you may be passed over for someone who doesn’t lag.

I you and all Chad, but would you please allow Jess to log your account and fix your various typos? It's very distracting. Lol! Lovely set of rules otherwise.

Sounds reasonable, and by spreadsheet dps you mean the dps equivalant to gear right? Say person x has 10man epics and lets say there dps is consistantly in the 4-5k range, where as person y has full t7.5 and 25man epics and consistantly does 6-7K+ dps of the same class, would person x have a chance or should person x just drop out all together, since they wouldn't be able to compete against person y's dps?

No, by spreadsheet, he means what a calculated, maximized efficiency dps total you can reach. Sites like maxdps.com provide that kind of info for those (like me) who either hate or don't care about crunshing numbers. These sites calculate how much you should be doing, ideally, with the gear you currently have. Because it is an ideal setting, i.e. no lag, perfect buff setting and a rotation only a machine could pull off, we aren't asking for that, hence the 80%. So in your example, if the 10 man geared dps pulls off 4k and the spreadsheet says he could be doing 5k, he's ok, if barely. As for the 25 man geared dps, if he's doing 5k but the spreadsheet says he should be doing 7.5k, he's below our threshold and so his spot might go to the less geared person.

i think something is very very wrong with maxdps.com. it is showing that my dps should be substantially lower than it really is.

Yeah next time he posts something this important it will not hit the forums until sufficiently edited by me. Sorry, that was my lack of efficiency this time.
Of course, I have to say that the fps/lag rule is something I think you should be fairly lenient on. Good equipment is important, but as you WELL know, some of us don't have the money to budget for top-notch computer equipment. As long as we're living up to the standards our role requires, with a fair amount of ease, I don't think that should be a hard cold requirement.

GOGO healing while staring at the floor to boost frame rate! The Heigen dance is even better! If you happen to receive a heal from me during the dance, I'm pretty much just running around blindly and happen to survive every time, gogo Vinny!
What was this thread about in the first place? I'll assume Sori and E Jones cause I love em sooo much and if either of them found me drunk on the side of the road with brown paper bag on me head that had the words, "FREE FUCK!!!" on it, I know they would save me from said terrible fate.

Haha Castelli sometimes I wonder how boring my life would be if I never met you... Also I'd feel bad for all you people if some of the problems with terrible computers weren't so funny. Castelli for example: "There is this big pillar of light thing in oculus. It probably looks cool but if I try to look at it I get disconnected..."
